Lamb ribs with red lentils - recipe

Ingredients

  • Lamb (ribs) - 500 gr
  • Lentils red - 2 beaker
  • Red onion - 1 pcs
  • Garlic (cloves) - 2 pcs
  • Parsley
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Lamb ribs with red lentils Directions

Preparation:
1. Rinse lentils and soak in cold water for 1 hour. Chop the ribs in portions, rinse and dry with a paper towel. Finely chop the onion and garlic.
2. Season the ribs with salt, pepper and sprinkle with freshly chopped onions. Stir, lightly rubbing the onion, and leave for half an hour.
3. Place the meat and onions in a bowl. Close the lid and turn on the Lamb / Braising mode for 2 hours. Stew the lamb in its own juice for an hour, stirring occasionally. Monitor the fluid level, adding water as needed.
4. After an hour, add lentils, 2 multi-glasses of water, garlic and herbs and stir.
5. Stir occasionally during cooking.
Tip:
When preparing this dish, instead of lentils, you can use beans that have been previously soaked in cold water overnight, as well as canned beans.
