Fish in vegetable marinade - recipe

Ingredients

  • Tuna (fillet) - 500 gr
  • Flour - 3 tbs
  • Vegetable oil - 6 tbs
  • For the marinade:
  • Carrot - 2 pcs
  • Parsley (root) - 1 pcs
  • Celery (root) - 1 pcs
  • Onion - 1 pcs
  • Tomato puree - 0.5 beaker
  • Tomato paste - 2 tbs
  • Sugar - 1 tbs
  • Bay leaf - 1 pcs
  • Carnation - 2 pcs
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Fish in vegetable marinade Directions

Preparation:
1. Cut the fish fillet into portions, dry with a paper towel. Season with salt, pepper, and flour.
2. Cut the onion into half rings, grate the carrots on a coarse grater or cut into strips, cut the roots into strips.
3. Pour vegetable oil into a bowl and turn on the "Fish / Fry" mode for 40 minutes. Fry the fish until golden brown, put on a dish, 20-25 minutes.
4. In the same oil, fry the onions, carrots and roots, stirring occasionally. At the end of frying, add all other marinade ingredients and stir.
5. Close the lid and turn on the Vegetable / Stew setting for 30 minutes. Simmer, stirring occasionally. Add half a glass of water or fish stock if needed.
6. Put the prepared marinade on the fish and refrigerate.
Note:
Marinated fish will be tastier if kept in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours before serving. The dish can be kept in the refrigerator for two days.
