• Wash the chicken liver and scald with boiling water.
• Peel the onions and carrots and cut them into small cubes. Cut the liver into 1 cm cubes.
• Pour vegetable oil into the inner bowl of a multicooker and add carrots and onions.
• Press the "MENU" buttons, select the "COOK" mode .
• Press the COOKING TIME button and use the + and - buttons to set the cooking time to 35 minutes.
• Press the "TEMP." Button and use the "+" and "-" buttons to set the temperature to 160 ° C.
• Press the START button. Close the lid of the multicooker.
• After 20 minutes, open the lid of the multicooker, add chicken liver, salt, black pepper and water to the vegetables. Stir.
• At the end of the program, several beeps will sound and the appliance will go into heating mode.
• Using oven mitts, carefully remove the inner bowl from the multicooker, drain the remaining liquid.
• Put the contents of the bowl in a hand blender chopper or food processor bowl, add butter and chop until smooth. Refrigerate for 3 hours.
Tips
• To add a spicy flavor to the dish, add nutmeg on the tip of a knife and 20 ml of cognac (1 tablespoon) along with the chicken liver.
• The pate can be served with croutons or with fresh bread and pickles.
• Pate can be added to canapés to decorate the holiday table.
