Steamed asparagus with blue cheese - recipe

- Asparagus - 300 gr
- Blue cheese - 100 gr
- Walnuts - 0.5 beaker
- Olive oil - 2 tbs

Preparation:
1. Wash the asparagus, bend each stem into a ring to break off the upper part of the stem from the lower, more firm one.
2. Pour 1 liter of water into a bowl, place the lower parts of the asparagus in the steaming tray and place the tray in the bowl.
3. Close the lid and turn on Vegetables / Steam for 25 minutes.
4. After 15 minutes add the tops of the asparagus.
5. Put the hot asparagus on a dish, sprinkle with crumbled blue cheese and coarsely chopped walnuts on top.
Tip:
When using frozen asparagus, thaw it first and shorten the cooking time by 5 minutes.
