Bigos in Old Polish - recipe
Ingredients
- Smoked brisket - 200 gr
- Hunting sausages - 200 gr
- White cabbage - 300 gr
- Sauerkraut - 300 gr
- Carrot - 1 pcs
- Onion - 1 pcs
- Meat broth - 2 beaker
- Mayonnaise - 1 tsp
- Basil - 2 tsp
- Salt
- Pepper

Bigos in Old Polish Directions

Preparation:
1. Finely dice the sausage and brisket, cut the onion and carrot into strips, finely chop the fresh cabbage.
2. Rinse the sauerkraut and drain with water.
3. In the “Meat” mode, fry the brisket until the fat begins to melt.
4. Add sausages and lightly fry.
5. Add onion and carrots to the meat, close the lid and cook on Meat for 3-4 minutes.
6. Add fresh and sauerkraut to the bowl, marjoram, basil, stir, season with salt and pepper.
7. Pour bigos with broth, close the lid and simmer in "Bean" mode for 30 minutes.

Preparation:
1. Finely dice the sausage and brisket, cut the onion and carrot into strips, finely chop the fresh cabbage.
2. Rinse the sauerkraut and drain with water.
3. In the Crusty mode fry the brisket until the fat begins to melt.
4. Add sausages and lightly fry.
5. Put onions and carrots to the meat, close the lid and cook in Express mode for 3-4 minutes.
6. Add fresh and sauerkraut to the bowl, marjoram, basil, stir, season with salt and pepper.
7. Pour bigos with broth, close the lid and cook on Simmer for 1 hour.

Preparation:

3. In the Browning mode , fry the brisket until the fat begins to melt.
4. Add sausages and lightly fry.
5. Add onions and carrots to the meat, close the lid and cook on "Frying" for 3-4 minutes.
6. Add fresh and sauerkraut to the bowl, marjoram, basil, stir, season with salt and pepper.
7. Pour the bigos with broth, close the lid and simmer on Stew for 30 minutes.

Preparation:
1. Cut the sausage and brisket into small cubes. Finely chop the onion, cut the carrots into strips, chop the fresh cabbage.
2. Rinse sauerkraut and squeeze.
3. Put the brisket in the bowl and turn on the Fry / Meat program for 10 minutes. When the fat begins to melt, add the sausages and fry slightly.
4. Add onions and carrots, close the lid and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
5. Add fresh and sauerkraut, marjoram, basil, stir, season with salt and pepper.
6. Pour bigos with broth, close the lid and turn on the Stew / Meat program for 40 minutes.
Tip:
Bigos does not lose its taste when reheated, so it can be cooked in large quantities for future use.
