Dauphinua gratin potatoes Directions

Multicooker firm: PHILIPS

HD3136

• Wash and peel potatoes, cut into thin slices (2-5 mm thick).
• Cut the garlic in half and rub the sides and sides of the multicooker in halves. Chop the remaining garlic and place on the bottom.
• Combine cream, sour cream, salt and nutmeg right in the multicooker bowl. Taste it: the sauce should be slightly salty as the potatoes will absorb the salt.
• Place the sliced potatoes in the prepared mixture, stir gently so as not to damage the slices. The whole potatoes should be covered with sauce.
• Press the MENU button , select the OVEN mode. Press the COOKING TIME button, then use the + and - buttons to set the cooking time to 1 hour 20 minutes. Press the TEMP. button and then use the + and - buttons to set the temperature to 120 ° C. Press the “START” button , the multicooker will automatically switch to the cooking mode.
• When the signal sounds about the end of cooking, turn off the multicooker and hold the dish for another 10 minutes in the bowl so that the potatoes are well infused.
Tips
• It is not recommended to replace the cream with less fatty ones or milk, as it will curdle and the dish will turn out to be not so beautiful and tasty.
• Optionally add onions, or even better shallots.
• Add white ground pepper, it goes well with potato dishes.
• 10 minutes before the end, you can sprinkle the potatoes with cheese for a nice crust.
• Use a Philips hand blender or Philips multi-slicer to cut potatoes.
• Potato slices do not need to be rinsed to remove starch, as starch, combined with sour cream, will give the dish a creamy consistency.
