• Wash the multicooker bowl well. Wipe the outside of the multicooker's inner bowl with a dry cloth. Place the bowl in a multicooker. Rinse the rice and place it in the inner bowl of the multicooker. Add water and salt to taste. Close the lid of the multicooker until it clicks. Connect the multicooker to the mains - this should be done only after the device is fully prepared for use.
• Press the “MENU” button, select the “RICE / CEREALS” mode (the cooking time is automatically determined by the microprocessor depending on the amount of ingredients).
• If, after selecting “MENU” and “COOKING TIME” , no button is pressed for 10 seconds, the appliance will beep. After the beep sounds 15 times, the device goes into standby mode.
• Press the START button. After starting the multicooker, the time indicator goes out and strips moving across the display appear - this means that the liquid has begun to warm up. The countdown starts 15 minutes before the end of the program.
• At the end of the program, several beeps will sound and the appliance will go into heating mode.
• Using the oven mitts, carefully remove the inner bowl from the multicooker. Place the rice on a plate and serve.
Tips
• Typically, with this program, the cereal to water ratio is 1: 2. However, when preparing cereals, it is recommended to use the proportions indicated by the manufacturer on the cereal packaging, since rice, buckwheat, millet, etc. require a different ratio of water and cereals, as well as the duration of preparation, depending on the processing.
• You can change the volume of water according to your taste preferences.
• The cooking time in this mode is determined by the microprocessor automatically, it does not need to be set.
• Cooking time may vary depending on the amount of cereal and water.
• The total volume of cereal and water must not exceed the maximum ingredient mark on the inside of the bowl.
• You can add butter or oil to cooked rice. Try to stir it gently so as not to damage the delicate rice. Or add the oil directly to the water before cooking for even better taste.
• To measure the required amount of cereal and water, use the measuring cup in the multicooker kit. The recommended maximum amount of cereals in a glass is to the brim, without a slide.
