Ingredients

  • Cod fillet - 300 gr
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tbs
  • Chilli - 1 pcs
  • Canned peeled tomatoes in their own juice - 200 gr
  • Bulb onions - 1 pcs
  • Garlic - 2 clove
  • Capers - 30 gr
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Spice

• Pour vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl, put chopped garlic.
• Press the “MENU” button and select the “FRY” function .
• Press the COOKING TIME button and then use the HOURS / MINUTES button to set the cooking time to 10 minutes. Click START .
• Saute the garlic for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
• After 5 minutes add the chopped onion, chili and capers and cook for another 5 minutes until the end of the program, stirring occasionally.
• Add tomatoes and cod fillets.
• Press the button “MENU” and select the function “EXTEND” .
• Press the COOK TIME button and then use the HOURS / MINUTES button to set the cooking time to 20 minutes. Click START .
• Place the finished meal on plates and serve.

• Pour vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl, add finely chopped garlic, chili and onion.
• Press the MENU button and select FRY (default cooking time is 15 minutes).
• Press the START button.
• Cook vegetables for 10 minutes, stirring constantly. After 10 minutes, add the fish, capers and tomatoes cut into large pieces (7x3cm) and cook for another 5 minutes until the end of the program, stirring occasionally.
• At the end of the program, press the "MENU" button and select the "EXTEND" mode . Press the COOKING TIME button, then use the + and - buttons to set the cooking time to 30 minutes.
• Press the START button.
• Stir occasionally, but try not to open the lid often - the dish should be saturated with aromas.
• At the end of the program, several beeps will sound and the appliance will switch to heating mode.
• Using the oven mitts, carefully remove the inner bowl from the multicooker. Place on a plate, top with tomato sauce and serve.
Tips
• When the vegetables are fried, you can add a little white wine (20 ml) to make the fish taste good.
• Thyme or rosemary are great for fish and should be added at the time of stewing. Then you will get the most authentic Italian taste.
• Before cooking, be sure to remove the seeds from the chili pod - this is the hottest part of the pepper and can make the dish too hot.
• There can be any fish in this dish, the main thing is to keep the proportions. If you increase the volume of fish, then you need to increase the volume of vegetables and the cooking time.
